Car Park and Drop Off

The Police Station is located within the Three Rivers Council Offices. There are various parking areas at the Council Offices which are accessed via a service road off of Northway. There are two accessible parking bays situated opposite the Entrance into the building. Please note visitors can park in this area for up to 2 hours only.

Transport

The closest public transport links are provided by buses stopping on the High Street in Rickmansworth. Buses on route numbers 1, W1, 320, 321, 724, 336 and R21 heading towards destinations including Garston, Watford, Maple Cross and High Wycombe stop here on a regular basis. Rickmansworth Train Station is also within a comfortable walking distance and provides the Chiltern Line Rail and Metropolitan Line London Underground services.

Access at Entrance

The public entrance for access to the Hertfordshire Police Reception is shared with the Three Rivers Council Offices. Entry into the building is gained through double, automatic doors which slide open on approach. Please note there is an emergency telephone located to the far left of the Entrance which connects to an emergency call centre. The phone is only to be used during hours outside of the office opening times.

Reception

The Police Reception Counter is located to the right of the Three Rivers Council Reception. The reception area has plenty of seating available should visitors need to rest. The Counter is 730mm high and provides a knee recess. There is adequate room in front of the counter to accommodate all visitors.

Facilities

Accessible toilet facilities are available on the lower ground floor of the Council Offices and can be accessed by either a lift or stairs from the Main Reception Lobby. The toilets have grab rails and an assistance alarm is installed.
