Transport
There are good public transport links close to the Police Station provided by Buses stopping along Elstree Way to within 200 metres of the building.
Car park and drop off
The Police Station has a public car park which is situated to the front of the building and accessed from Elstree Way. There is a designated accessible parking bay located almost directly outside the public entrance.
Access at Entrance
There is level access to the public reception entrance via a ramp. Alternative steps are also available. An assistance button is situated at the foot of the ramped approach enabling visitors to request assistance if required.
Entry into the reception area is via an automatic sliding single door with level threshold. Upon exit the door is activated either by reception staff or a manual release button situated adjacent to the reception counter.
Reception
The reception counter is situated immediately to the left on entering the building. Alternative arrangements can be made to access reception services via an accessible height counter in an adjoining consultation room.
Facilities
A portable induction loop is available at the reception counter and can be used in the adjoining interview rooms.
Access to all areas
Once inside the building all areas of the reception, waiting and interview areas are on level access from the ground floor.
