Car Park and drop off
There are drop off opportunities along the length of Vaughan Road to within 20 metres of the Police Station. Several dropped kerbs along the road give level access onto the pavement, the closest being almost directly outside the entrance to the Police Station. There is parking available with a maximum stay of one hour in marked parking bays.
There are pay and display car parks on Bowers Way approximately 300 metres from the Police Station.
Access at Entrance
There is level access into the Police Station from Vaughan Road. Double automatic doors lead directly into the public reception area.
Reception
The reception counter is directly ahead upon entering the building. Seating is available in the waiting area.
There is an alternative accessible reception counter located in an adjacent interview room.
Facilities
There are accessible toilet facilities in the reception waiting area. Reception staff control access via a remote door release mechanism. The accessible toilet may not be suitable for some visitors, particularly if side on transfer is necessary.
There are 2 fold down seats available in the reception area.
A portable induction loop is available at reception for visitors who may require the service.
